Key Responsibilities

  • •Conform to all general and technical safety requirements to ensure health, safety, and welfare of self and others.
  • •Carry out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance within civil works and/or airfield civil works sections, individually or as part of a technical team.
  • •Read, interpret, and describe the functionality of civil works drawings (schematic & layout drawing).
  • •Conduct inspections to determine the need for painting and prepare surfaces by washing, repairing holes, or removing old paint.
  • •Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to indoor and outdoor walls and furniture using painting hand and power tools; perform PM, CM, and BD routines.

Key Requirements

  • •Industrial Training Institute Certificate/Diploma (2-year duration) in painting and decorating (or equivalent post high school).
  • •IOSH Working Safely Certificate (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum three years of experience in facility management and/or civil works (or similar).
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and describe civil works drawings (schematic & layout).
  • •Knowledge of local and international standards and regulations (with direct hands-on exposure to civil/furniture elements).
