Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the technical roadmap for an issuing program construct, translating business goals into technical delivery.
  • •Build and shape an engineering team from the ground up, hiring as needed and establishing a best-in-class engineering culture.
  • •Provide technical authority and domain expertise for the banking product, challenging design decisions and driving solutions.
  • •Coach, mentor, and manage team performance, supporting professional development and rapid, high-quality execution.
  • •Partner with Product Managers to manage timelines, address technical debt, enforce best engineering practices, and propose new features based on customer needs and market context.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 243,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in people management, building and coaching high-performance engineering teams.
  • •FinTech experience with exposure to Issuing and/or Banking, or experience managing technical delivery of a critical global product at scale.
  • •In-depth knowledge of building and scaling API-based financial services, with comfort challenging senior engineers.
  • •Strong execution skills including effective communication and stakeholder management (internal and external).
  • •Proven ability to lead complex, multi-team projects with external partners (e.g., bank rails, third-party vendors such as Zelle and Plaid).
