Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop motor control software specifications for power tools and outdoor products.
  • •Conduct motor control MIL simulation and test in MATLAB using motor control algorithms for lithium-ion battery systems.
  • •Generate application-level embedded code from model-based design and support MATLAB unit and coverage testing.
  • •Develop and lead Speedgoat-based HIL test systems and verification environments (HIL/SIL/MIL) to test and validate embedded controllers with hardware-in-loop.
  • •Support verification/validation procedures (unit and integration testing), maintain documentation, and translate customer requirements into software specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering (master’s degree preferred).
  • •5+ years’ experience in research/product development of embedded firmware.
  • •Design a model-based design (MBD) embedded software platform for power tool products.
  • •Strong experience with MBD verification (MIL/PIL/SIL) and test automation.
  • •Proficiency in embedded microcontroller development in C/C++, including code generation and BSP/HAL, plus motor control knowledge (FOC and sensorless/sensored).
