Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform defect analysis measurements including critical dimension, overlay, film thickness, stress, bow, and roughness using advanced metrology tools.
  • •Identify and classify defects per established criteria and standards; collect, organize, and analyze defect density and distribution metrics.
  • •Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment; troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance or field service teams.
  • •Collaborate with Yield and Defect Metrology Engineering teams to implement process improvements based on findings.
  • •Document and communicate results; monitor and audit manufacturing processes and support lot dispositions, experimental testing, and engineering tests.

Key Requirements

  • •Have at least one of: a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years related hands-on experience or military technical experience; High School Diploma with 2+ years in a related equipment maintenance role; High School Diploma with a 2+ year technical/trade certification or 2+ years technical experience; Associate degree in STEM with 1+ year equipment maintenance experience.
  • •2+ years' experience with user-level computer operation.
  • •Preferred: proficiency using advanced node metrology and defect analysis tools aligned with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • •Preferred: basic knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques and process control systems.
  • •Preferred: experience performing hands-on preventative/corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent), plus ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
