Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and tools/blueprints. Coordinate installation and repair work with team leaders and customers, ensure safety standards, and maintain accountability of company assets while supporting occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
•Use hand tools and cutting-edge software/technology while following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain safety to the highest standards and record use/wear/conditions to ensure security and accountability of company assets.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent required, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Strong HVAC knowledge, including air conditioning theory and ability to work from mechanical layouts and blueprints/engineering specifications.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a hand-held computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification required.
