Key Responsibilities

  • •Keep the lab stocked by receiving deliveries, unpacking, storing reagents at correct temperatures, and updating inventory accurately.
  • •Run day-to-day ordering: place orders, follow up on late items, and resolve incorrect arrivals.
  • •Handle in and out shipping for customer samples, reagents, and equipment, including cold-chain logistics and customs paperwork.
  • •Support the science team hands-on with protein reconstitution/aliquoting, buffer prep, plate handling, and tracking materials in lab software.
  • •Look after instruments by coordinating servicing, calibration, and repairs with vendors and ensuring fast on-site engineering support when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Some hands-on lab experience (degree, apprenticeship, technician role, or couple years in a research/biotech lab).
  • •Highly organized with the ability to track dozens of small details (inventory, expirations, service schedules).
  • •Proactive attention to issues before they break (e.g., spotting low reagents weeks ahead).
  • •Comfort with hands-on work such as unpacking boxes, moving dry ice, and reorganizing equipment/freezers.
  • •Tech-savvy and curious to automate parts of the role using the lab’s own software and AI tooling.
