Key Responsibilities

•Provide day-to-day oversight and management of all construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
•Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, client representatives, inspection staff, and project stakeholders.
•Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
•Oversee bridge rehabilitation construction activities, including structural repairs, maintenance of traffic, and associated civil work.
•Lead construction progress meetings and facilitate communication among project participants.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70 - 90 hourly

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience managing transportation, bridge, or heavy civil construction projects.
•Previous experience serving as a Resident Engineer on bridge rehabilitation or transportation infrastructure projects.
•Prior NJ TRANSIT experience is required.
•Strong knowledge of bridge rehabilitation construction methods, construction administration, and field operations.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction management software is preferred.
