Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and manage the Roundsman crew daily.
  • •Ensure strict adherence to plant safety policies and food safety programs to maintain the PSM program.
  • •Maintain refrigeration systems and manage temperature/conditions to support shrink quality, yields, ergonomics, and profitability.
  • •Prioritize and schedule crew work with maintenance planners; verify annual equipment license renewals and operating certificates.
  • •Participate in maintenance activities and HACCP/USDA-related issues; ensure repairs are completed within food safety guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; prefer post-high school education and specialized training.
  • •3+ years of experience as a refrigeration mechanic or operator, including ammonia-certified and Process Safety Management experience.
  • •Hazmat 24hr training, Incident Command, Hazwoper experience, and knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations.
  • •Knowledge of two-stage anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment (compressors, condensers, ammonia pumps and controls).
  • •Must be competent in Windows-based software for emails and entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.
