Job Summary

Oversee procurement for a federal Facilities Operations contract on Redstone Arsenal, leading purchase order creation and validation, vendor and subcontract management, and on-time delivery of materials. Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and other government regulations, manage procurement software (Deltek Costpoint) and data tracking in the Portal, and maintain purchasing records on SharePoint. Lead supplier negotiations, resolve purchasing and billing issues, and provide procurement insights to support program operational goals.

•Support program needs through compliant procurement, subcontracting, and vendor management, serving as a communication channel between PMO and subcontractors.
•Supervise procurement activities to ensure contract compliance with FAR/DFAR and other government regulations.
•Monitor and manage subcontracts through day-to-day oversight of procurement staff, operational supervisors/managers, and shops.
•Lead creation of purchase orders, maintain ordering systems for materials/equipment, and manage on-time delivery.
•Compile and track purchasing data in the Portal and maintain project files on SharePoint, while handling supplier discrepancies and billing disputes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,637 - 149,376

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred).
•5 years’ experience providing procurement and subcontracts support for government contracts.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex purchasing issues and optimize procurement strategies.
•Proven experience managing vendor relationships and leading procurement processes.
•Proficient using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
