Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake project management for mid- to large-size renewable energy projects focused on the construction phase.
  • •Liaise with clients daily, manage delivery against requirements, timescales, and budgets, and resolve issues including contract underperformance.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction of renewable energy infrastructure, ensuring contractors align with contract requirements and best practice.
  • •Support procurement and administer contracts, including preparation of Employer’s Requirements and management of NEC/FIDIC/JCT/bespoke technical documentation and technology supply contracts.
  • •Support project governance end-to-end (set-up to completion), including reporting and invoicing; review deliverables, perform quality control, contribute to proposals, and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (Hons) in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental) or a diploma in Project Management.
  • •Background in project and construction with commercial awareness of energy-sector construction-phase projects, including grid-connected project complexities.
  • •Experience leading project management across design, procurement, and construction phases for renewable energy technologies.
  • •Ideally recent onsite experience in onshore wind.
  • •Experience with solar PV and/or hydroelectric (run of river and pumped storage).
