Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist leadership technically to deliver multi-discipline projects.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered per contract requirements and that relevant Health and Safety risks are identified, communicated, and managed.
  • •Develop external and internal client relationships.
  • •Coordinate technical management of subcontractors and remote resources supporting the core project team.
  • •Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met; participate in industry working groups such as CIGRE and IEEE.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent technical discipline), preferably Electrical or Power engineering, with 5 to 10 years of experience.
  • •Extensive experience designing, manufacturing, and testing HV cables for HVAC, including desirable HVDC projects onshore and offshore with HV cable system design and ratings.
  • •Understanding of IEC cable standards and CIGRE technical policies/specifications, with capability to act as a cable expert.
  • •Preparation, review, and validation of technical proposals for transmission and distribution projects, including technical documents/calculations.
  • •Experience using cable modeling software (CYMCAP) and system designing (bonding system, earth continuity cable, co-axial cable, short-circuit calculations, and cable bonding layout).
