Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with product teams to design risk-based, compliant products, processes, and controls for the Brazilian market.
  • •Conduct pre-launch and ongoing regulatory risk assessments for local payment products and FX structures, translating Bacen rules into product requirements.
  • •Identify and manage regulatory risks across Wise’s Brazil product suite and oversee a first-line control environment with targeted, automated controls.
  • •Monitor regulatory changes and maintain risk metrics and governance reporting to inform regional and global decision-making.
  • •Oversee regulatory audits and remediation plans, and represent Wise in discussions with Bacen and local regulatory bodies.
