Key Responsibilities

  • •Build browser-extension capabilities to capture interactions and context for reliable workflow reproduction.
  • •Develop automation for complex applications, including dynamic pages, nested frames, custom controls, and asynchronous state changes.
  • •Create debugging and replay tools to understand and resolve automation failures.
  • •Own architectural decisions for browser recording and execution, including recording fidelity, element targeting, and browser state.
  • •Partner with AI engineers and mentor peers via design discussions and code reviews, including participating in hiring.

Key Requirements

  • •Independently owned significant web capabilities end to end, including design, deployment, production failures, and improvements.
  • •Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and deep understanding of the DOM, browser events, network behavior, and asynchronous execution.
  • •Experience building browser automation using Playwright (or comparable tools).
  • •Ability to trace difficult failures across browser behavior, frontend state, and backend services.
  • •Skill in designing tests to distinguish reliable behavior from intermittent or one-time success.
