Job Summary

Lead residential solar installation projects as part of a solar construction crew, coordinating and guiding installers day to day. You’ll review inventory, assemble and layout solar and electrical components, apply weather sealing, and ensure proper racking and installs per project plans. Maintain a clean, orderly jobsite, uphold safety at all times, participate in mandatory training, and support fellow team members—including assisting with solar battery installations when assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, and electrical equipment and tools in preparation for installation.
•Apply weather sealing and assemble racking, solar modules, panels, or support structures as specified in the project plan.
•Ensure personal, crew, and job site safety at all times and participate in mandatory training on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
•Lead the crew through safe, effective, and efficient installations; provide leadership and technical support to fellow crew members (and assist with solar battery installations when assigned).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 - 40.01 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required (equivalent construction or military experience may be considered).
•Must maintain a clean driving record, be 21 years of age, and possess a valid driver’s license.
•Adhere to company safety policies and be able to identify and report safety hazards, encouraging others to work safely.
•Ability to lead installers by providing leadership, technical support, and guidance while meeting deadlines and key metrics.
