Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage security operations programs across Applied Materials locations in California, building relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
  • •Set expectations and oversee implementation of contract security services and physical security standards.
  • •Develop and manage operational metrics, KPIs, and SLAs using internal case reporting to optimize staffing and resources.
  • •Apply AI tools and techniques to support day-to-day security operations, including AI-assisted project management, budget modeling, case triage, and intelligent alerting.
  • •Select, develop, and evaluate security personnel; drive security awareness/training and operational plans for measurable performance and efficiency improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in a corporate security-related field.
  • •5+ years leading multi-location organizations for a technology company.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CTH, CPP, CPO) are a plus.
  • •Experience developing governance processes, KPIs/KRIs, dashboards, and reporting for program effectiveness.
  • •Strong collaboration and influencing skills across senior leadership functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Global Security, Employee Relations, Risk Management).
