Deputy Head of Trade

Lead international trade compliance for a defense technology company, partnering with senior leadership and the Head of Trade to turn compliance strategy into operational priorities. Provide enterprise-wide strategic advice, oversee M&A trade diligence, support audits and disclosures, and engage regulators to advocate for the compliance program. Help develop trade policies that balance compliance with mission urgency, and leverage AI to enhance sanctions screening, export/import classification, and restricted-party monitoring.
