Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain key machinery and systems (pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors) and perform preventative checks to minimize downtime.
  • •Keep the plant clean and safe, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance (mowing and snow removal).
  • •Follow safety protocols and regulations, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs, and support OSHA/EPA compliance; respond quickly in emergencies.
  • •Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve problems, participate in training, and communicate to support smooth operations.
  • •Assist with new equipment installations and special projects; organize tools/parts/supplies and support product transport across the plant and externally as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, or 4 years direct experience in industrial mechanical or food manufacturing maintenance.
  • •Vocational, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
