Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve, optimize, and sustain inspection systems across RPS manufacturing sites, including vision inspection, leak detection, metal detection, and other automated quality platforms.
  • •Troubleshoot complex inspection system issues affecting detection performance, false rejects, missed defects, lighting, cameras, sensors, controls interfaces, reject handling, recipe management, and repeatability.
  • •Partner with plant Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Automation teams to improve inspection capability, equipment reliability, and product quality outcomes.
  • •Support commissioning, startup, validation, and handoff of new or upgraded inspection systems with proper configuration, documentation, and capability.
  • •Develop and refine standards for inspection system setup, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing performance monitoring; identify improvements to reduce false rejects and scrap.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Experience supporting inspection, automation, quality, manufacturing equipment, or production line technology in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical equipment issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • •Ability to travel approximately 50-60% to support manufacturing sites globally.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting findings, recommendations, standards, and improvement actions.
