Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform periodic inspections, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems at customer sites.
  • •Troubleshoot complex faults involving control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, power supplies, batteries, modules, relays, and communication systems.
  • •Install, program, configure, commission, and service addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
  • •Apply NFPA 72 and NFPA 70 knowledge and applicable AHJ requirements to ensure system compliance.
  • •Maintain detailed records and communicate deficiencies and corrective actions to customers and internal teams, providing technical guidance to junior technicians when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of proven experience as a Fire Alarm/Fire Protection Field Service Technician.
  • •NICET Level I certification in Fire Alarm Systems, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • •Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems (control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, power supplies, batteries, modules, relays, and communications).
  • •Knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 70, ability to read wiring/riser/sequence diagrams, and a valid driver’s license.
