Job Summary

Administer residential, non-commercial construction loan processes to mitigate loss and expense exposure. Maintain construction loan draw accounts, coordinate inspections, and calculate and validate draw requests for borrower/builder approval. Review inspection and loan documentation, manage draw/disbursement requirements, monitor maturities and receivables, and coordinate issues with the MLO, builder, borrower, and general contractor. Ensure loan file documentation is complete and complete final milestones at construction closeout.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and maintain construction loan draw accounts, coordinating inspections and calculating draw requests for borrower/builder approval.
•Determine whether draw requests are appropriate based on current and previous requests, and review inspection reports and related challenges.
•Coordinate with the general contractor, borrower, MLO, and management to establish loan advance procedures and carry them through construction and into permanent financing.
•Prepare and distribute draw proceeds (checks, wires, or deposits) and retain supporting loan advance documentation in the loan file.
•Monitor loan maturities, receivables for interest, loan balance, and coordinate extension requests through construction completion closeout milestones.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED; business/financial industry-related education through training or curriculum is expected.
•Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential mortgage loans and/or loan operations.
•Experience administering residential mortgage construction loan draw and disbursement processes.
•Must have excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
•Ability to pay close attention to detail and exercise discretion and sound judgment in customer relations.
