Key Responsibilities

•Drive material and process development, characterization and system-level integration across Raytheon product lines and new business.
•Perform material performance predictions and execute measurement tests on developmental and production systems.
•Measure constitutive and RF attenuation properties and generate predicted material performance using Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) tools.
•Collaborate within Integrated Product Teams to apply advanced signature control techniques and assess system performance.
•Mentor early career engineers and take strong ownership as Materials Lead on IPTs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or higher with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience
•Experience in Low Observable (LO) or Radar materials
•Experience with material characterization, performance testing/prediction, and integration on air vehicles
•Experience with customer and supplier collaboration
•U.S. citizenship required and active DoD Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
