Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate, monitor, and maintain data center systems including BAS/BMS, mechanical systems, electrical distribution, generators/fuel, UPS systems, and fire/life safety systems.
  • •Perform routine preventive/corrective maintenance, performance testing, and routine inspections on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
  • •Resolve issues using manufacturer manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and associated documentation.
  • •Analyze system failures for trends and root causes and develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • •Coordinate and lead third-party vendors during maintenance, repair, and project activities while proactively communicating availability risks to leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •College, vocational, or trade school certification (or equivalent) in a related field such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, or data center operations.
  • •2+ years of experience in operations and maintenance.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire and life safety systems.
  • •Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and using computer systems for information sharing.
