Job Summary

Develop proof-of-concept demonstrators and conduct technical experimentation to evaluate innovative technologies for future defence and security capabilities. Perform feasibility studies using analysis, rapid prototyping, and experimental evaluation, while exploring emerging technologies and RF/SDR concepts. Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware and software, debug and validate prototypes, and translate ideas into practical solutions from concept to prototype.

Key Requirements

•Strong software development skills using Python and C, with knowledge of C++, C#, or Rust.
•Experience configuring or developing software for embedded platforms or single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, BeagleBone, STM32), including RTOS and device drivers/peripherals.
•Experience building rapid prototypes with practical hardware integration and debugging (e.g., fault-finding, soldering, or 3D printing).
•Familiarity with RF technologies, Software Defined Radio (SDR), or RF measurement techniques.
•Creative, innovative problem-solving with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and translate concepts into practical solutions.
