Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect customer requirements, generate corresponding solutions, and produce technical specifications.
  • •Select, propose, and ultimately approve key technologies for Earth observation system programs.
  • •Define, lead, and facilitate technical studies, trade-off analyses, and investigations to ensure compliant solution delivery.
  • •Act as a reference during reviews of major future development programs and manage engineering changes, including client approval/refusal.
  • •Perform technical benchmarking and reverse engineering to understand competition and market; evaluate suppliers and partners and support business-oriented technology strategy execution.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 10 years of experience in relevant engineering domains such as system architecture, space systems engineering, software engineering, image processing, or computing.
  • •Proven experience directing a design team and managing complex projects to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • •Ability to conduct technical studies, trade-off analyses, and investigations to deliver compliant technical solutions using applicable design methods and procedures.
  • •Solid leadership and communication skills to drive stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
  • •Fluency in English is required; French and/or German are a plus.
