Job Summary

Supervise and develop a team of hourly associates in Carvana’s Inspection Center to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality targets. Manage the safe movement of vehicles for repairs, review incoming inventory defects, and train production associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs correctly the first time. Partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center to meet production and quality goals.
•Oversee day-to-day activities, assess strengths/weaknesses, and drive continuous improvement for the team.
•Engage the team with coaching, development, and performance management; provide feedback and demonstrate desired skills.
•Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; lead decisions to repair or reject based on cost and vehicle quality.
•Train production associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and minimize re-checks, re-work, and delays.

•Experience using computers
•Must be at least 18 years of age
