Job Summary

Lead qualitative and quantitative risk analyses for oil & gas, energy and infrastructure projects, facilitating risk studies (HAZIDs, HAZOPs, FMEAs) and supporting QRAs. Conduct technical reviews of risk assessments, ensure activities align with internal procedures and standards, and coach others to strengthen risk management capabilities across the organisation’s Energy & Natural Resources portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and support projects within Risk Team portfolio in accordance with quality system requirements, cost structures and contractual requirements.
•Facilitate / chair qualitative risk studies (e.g., HAZIDs, HAZOPs, FMEAs) or support others as a scribe.
•Lead or support QRAs.
•Complete a technical review of risk assessments completed by other team members.
•Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science or engineering, project management or a related field.
•Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques, with experience facilitating / chairing workshops.
•In depth working experience in risk assessment / qualitative risk management.
•10+ years’ risk management experience in oil & gas, energy and infrastructure sectors.
•Knowledge of QRA Software (e.g. PHAST / SAFETI).
