Job Summary

Oversee the technical availability and efficiency of production plants and infrastructure at the Kreuzlingen site, ensuring smooth manufacturing of pressure-sensitive adhesives. Plan preventive maintenance to reduce downtime, lead investment projects from specification through profitability review and controlling, and develop technical concepts that improve safety, productivity, quality, and cost. Operate and continuously improve the DeltaV process control system, coordinating contractors and participating in on-call duty.

•Ensure technical availability and efficiency of production plants and infrastructure.
•Plan and execute preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime, including with plant maintenance teams.
•Independently lead investment projects from specification through profitability review and controlling.
•Develop technical concepts to improve safety, productivity, quality, and costs in collaboration with suppliers and internal specialists.
•Operate, maintain, and continuously improve and expand the DeltaV process control system, coordinating contractors and monitoring installations and assembly work.

Key Requirements

•Completed degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
•Solid experience in plant/process engineering or plant maintenance, ideally in a chemical production environment.
•Strong safety mindset (explosion protection is an advantage) and knowledge of industrial control systems such as DeltaV and related sensor technology.
•Practical experience with Lean tools, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement processes (KVP).
•Negotiation-level German and good English for working in an international environment.
