Job Summary

Own the technical architecture for Guidewire transformation projects for leading insurers in the DACH region. Design, implement, and evolve solutions using the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and/or Guidewire InsuranceSuite, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and operational stability. Define modern cloud, integration, and API architectures, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and act as a technical sparring partner while supporting presales and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical architecture of Guidewire projects and support insurer transformations and modernization efforts in the DACH market.
•Conceive, implement, and develop solutions based on GWCP and/or Guidewire InsuranceSuite while ensuring scalability, performance, security, and operational stability.
•Define modern cloud, integration, and API architectures and translate functional requirements into future-ready technical solutions.
•Advise customers on target architectures, operating models, and technology roadmaps, acting as a technical sparring partner for business, architecture teams, and management.
•Support presales and business development activities by presenting solution architectures and leveraging Guidewire expertise and network.

Key Requirements

•Several years of experience as a Guidewire Technical Architect, Lead Architect, or in a comparable architecture role in the insurance environment.
•Proven project experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and/or the Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including solid knowledge of PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
•Strong knowledge of modern cloud, integration, and API architectures, plus experience modernizing core insurance systems.
•Negotiation-ready German skills and confident communication with business departments, architecture committees, and management.
•Ideally, Guidewire certifications and experience with BillingCenter, InfoCenter, or Integration Gateway, plus knowledge of regulatory requirements and working with offshore delivery centers.
