Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and perform electronic/electrical testing and inspections of MCC cells and related apparatus/units/panels to verify product function.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions of equipment under test, determine causes, and report findings to supervisors/engineering.
  • •Execute sequence tests and metering circuit checks according to specifications, diagrams, and schematics.
  • •Prepare apparatus for testing and inspections, move apparatus as required, and perform mechanical inspection and insulation tests as needed.
  • •Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration are completed and support MCC assembly/cell-building tasks as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school/GED with at least two years’ experience in a similar electrical assembly manufacturing environment, or an associate's degree in electrical/electronic technology/engineering with at least one year of related manufacturing and/or test experience, or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related).
  • •Experience within an electrical assembly manufacturing environment performing tests and inspections.
  • •Previous experience working with electrical control distribution assemblies and/or electrical testing.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering disciplines for product design and development.
  • •Ability to follow safety procedures and inspect and troubleshoot electrical control circuits based on schematics.
