Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, dimension, and evaluate customer-specific electro-hydraulic control systems for ship loading arms, and improve the control solutions
  • •Derive requirements from order specifications and implement solutions within budget and time constraints
  • •Independently execute customer projects including drawings, BOMs, descriptions, technical clarifications with customers, partner coordination, and test planning
  • •Prepare and execute make-or-buy decisions for (partial) insourcing of electro-hydraulic control systems
  • •Support the sales team with developing targeted offers and, after onboarding, lead the control department (4 employees)

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable training
  • •Relevant experience with electro-hydraulic control systems
  • •Experience designing and analyzing control systems with functional safety (SIL, IEC 61508/IEC 61511)
  • •Knowledge of SPS programming
  • •Experience with ATEX, low-voltage and explosion protection directives is desirable
