You’ll lead secure authentication, token exchange, and authorization patterns for autonomous AI workloads, build anti-session-hijacking defenses, and battle-test platform behaviors in Okta’s own IAM tenant. Share deployment playbooks through technical content and peer collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the lead hands-on architect (“Customer Zero”) configuring and deploying Alpha platform capabilities in Okta’s corporate IAM tenant.
•Lead the architecture and configuration for how the Okta Platform governs non-human, autonomous AI workloads across O4AA, defining secure authentication, token exchange, and authorization patterns.
•Build internal deployment blueprints for anti-session hijacking defenses using Okta DBSSO and Chrome DBSC, leveraging OIE to protect endpoints from token and cookie exfiltration.
•Serve as a technical peer and trusted advisor, sharing real-world tenant deployment experiences, trade-offs, and lessons learned with other customer engineers.
•Contribute to technical content efforts (e.g., how-to video series, internal podcasts, and interactive roundtables) to share deployment architectures and technical playbooks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 128,000 - 176,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Extensive hands-on experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Okta in complex enterprise production environments, with mastery of Okta Identity Engine (OIE), Directory Integrations, Advanced Policies, Workflows, and Okta Platform APIs.
•Deep protocol and threat literacy across OAuth2/OIDC (especially Token Exchange), SAML, mTLS, JWT, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), with understanding of identity threat vectors like AiTM phishing and session hijacking.
•Ability to collaborate as an equal technical peer to product management and product engineering on feasibility and platform architecture paths.
•Exceptional communication skills translating complex platform configurations into clear, peer-to-peer explanations in documentation, video walkthroughs, or workshops.
•Nice to have: Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Consultant (not required if you have equivalent hands-on engineering experience).
