Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify operational, performance, security, and availability constraints and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • •Partner with engineering teams to support onboarding, advocate for engineering best practices, troubleshoot platform outages, and drive reliability improvement actions.
  • •Support application teams delivering highly available services, including participation in 24x7 on-call production support.
  • •Manage and maintain CI pipelines in GitLab, deployments to AWS through Jenkins, and infrastructure as code while progressing toward continuous deployment.
  • •Design, build, implement, and support platform solutions using AWS and other cloud technologies, taking ownership from design through operation.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of relevant technology experience, including at least 3 years working with AWS and practical knowledge of EC2, Auto Scaling Groups (ASG), S3, and RDS.
  • •Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and CloudFormation, along with infrastructure configuration tools such as Chef.
  • •Working knowledge of Git (branching models and merge strategies) and CI/CD engineering practices.
  • •Working knowledge of PowerShell/PowerShell Core for automation to improve operational efficiency and platform consistency.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to collaborate across engineering teams to identify issues and improve platform reliability.
