Job Summary

Develop and apply advanced concepts for process automation platforms used in manufacturing, power, and refinery/petrochemical operations. Lead complex problem-solving, define technical processes, and provide customer-facing technical insight. Design and execute test plans and test cases, conduct design reviews, and produce technical documentation. Work with DCS systems, historian tools, industrial communication protocols, and virtualization/networking concepts, while supporting software lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and apply new concepts and techniques as a recognized authority in process automation/platform/product areas.
•Define and lead problem-solving processes aligned to PA-LSS goals and objectives.
•Use technical capability to solve complex problems involving multiple technical disciplines and improve technical processes independently or via cross-functional teams.
•Create and execute test plans and test cases, share test design, and obtain sign-off to proceed with testing.
•Conduct internal/external design reviews and generate technical documentation from marketing requirements.

Key Requirements

•8-12+ years of experience with process/domain/operations, project engineering, or maintenance in manufacturing process industries, power plant operations, or refinery/petrochemical operations.
•Hands-on experience with DCS systems such as Honeywell Experion PKS, Emerson Delta V, Yokogawa, Invensys Foxboro, or ABB DCS.
•Understanding of plant conditions and production process concepts including process alarms, critical tags, and performance indicators.
•Hands-on with historian tools such as PHD and Aveva/OSI PI.
•Knowledge of industrial/communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EthernetIP, Modbus, OPC DA/UA, HART, Fieldbus) and exposure to test/requirement management tools like JIRA and Xray.
