Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive strategic technical programs assigned by Engineering, adapting to shifting delivery leadership needs.
  • •Establish operating cadence and reporting for inherited programs, transitioning mature programs to business-as-usual.
  • •Convey detailed technical knowledge to engineering teams, including rationale, business goals, and technical reasoning via writing and diagrams.
  • •Remove blockers and impediments, organizing teams for productive and consistent output.
  • •Partner with technical managers to secure resources, set priorities and milestones, and provide status reporting to senior leadership and C-staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Understand system architecture within the program domain and ensure dependencies are not broken by development or upstream changes.
  • •Create project plans that balance efficiency, availability, operability, scalability, business goals, and customer experience with engineering team needs.
  • •Assess engineering practices for testing, triage, and maintenance and help establish effective delivery methods with relevant manager(s).
  • •Demonstrate multi-disciplinary organizational skills with strong people and conflict management abilities.
  • •Bachelors/Masters or equivalent.
