Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection, including size, configuration, voltage, and options by reviewing plans, specifications, original estimates, and proposals.
  • •Evaluate cost savings and cost problems for projects and validate scope by reviewing transition documents, plans/specs, and quantities/configurations.
  • •Support sales by developing preliminary and final submittals, coordinating equipment pricing and hold job cost consensus meetings, and releasing submittals with necessary changes.
  • •Maintain competitive advantage by staying abreast of industry trends and negotiating prices with vendors to optimize expenses.
  • •After order closure, provide technical support for equipment installation, including new equipment, start-up, warranty service, and required controls equipment functions for execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent education and experience; plus 2+ years in the HVAC industry in project management or estimating roles.
  • •Alternatively, 5+ years in the HVAC industry performing project management or estimating roles, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Flexibility to work outside normal work hours as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, or reckless/careless driving) in the prior 3 years.
