Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and facilitate the Girl Scout After School Leadership Program (ASLP) in an after-school setting.
  • •Create a positive, engaging environment where youth can develop leadership skills through Girl Scout programming.
  • •Deliver bi-monthly two-hour sessions and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to each session.
  • •Complete one hour of planning and preparation per program level (age group) to support activities.
  • •Attend a monthly all-staff meeting and help ensure program activities are concluded properly.

Key Requirements

  • •Be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • •Enjoy working with school-aged children and support the values and mission of Girl Scouts.
  • •Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
  • •Be able to pass a background check and have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation to commute to the assigned school site.
  • •Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends; commitment to Girl Scouts of Hawai‘i values.
