Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and implement source code/configuration management strategy, including branching strategy (Git-flow/Trunk-based) and versioning policy (SemVer).
  • •Manage lifecycle deliverables such as change logs and release artifacts (release notes).
  • •Build and run CI/CD pipelines, designing and optimizing build/deploy automation processes.
  • •Operate SCM tools and manage their configuration and access permissions (e.g., GitLab, Perforce).
  • •Develop internal automation tools based on SCM APIs (e.g., project creation, permission granting, repository migrations).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • •4+ years of hands-on SCM/Build/Release engineering experience.
  • •Professional proficiency with SCM tools such as GitLab and/or Perforce.
  • •Strong Git skills, including resolving merge conflicts, using rebase, and understanding Git internals.
  • •Experience automating work with Python, Bash, or shell scripting, plus professional use of Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions (any one).
