Design, develop, and maintain high-performance SQL connectors and infrastructure within the Partner Ecosystem to enable seamless Databricks SQL connectivity for partners and enterprise customers. Lead open-source engagement, mentor teams across functions, and collaborate with product to evolve Partner Connect, driving data warehousing revenue and customer satisfaction at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain SQL drivers/connectors that power the majority of data warehousing traffic and partner integrations.
•Optimize SQL drivers for performance, reliability, and telemetry; maintain open source repositories and engage with the developer community.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement robust systems.
•Lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries and deliver incremental features over multi-quarter roadmap.
•Contribute to and shape Databricks Partner Connect, growing the partner ecosystem and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

•BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field.
•10+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Python, Go, or similar language.
•Proven track record in architecting, developing, deploying, and operating highly performant systems.
•Experience with open source communities through maintaining or contributing to open source repositories.
•Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
