Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain SQL drivers/connectors that power the majority of data warehousing traffic and partner integrations.
  • •Optimize SQL drivers for performance, reliability, and telemetry; maintain open source repositories and engage with the developer community.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement robust systems.
  • •Lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries and deliver incremental features over multi-quarter roadmap.
  • •Contribute to and shape Databricks Partner Connect, growing the partner ecosystem and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Python, Go, or similar language.
  • •Proven track record in architecting, developing, deploying, and operating highly performant systems.
  • •Experience with open source communities through maintaining or contributing to open source repositories.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
