Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise packaging, shipping, receiving, material handling, and transportation administrative activities to meet plant goals.
  • •Provide coaching and manage people, technology, and materials to drive continuous improvement in departmental performance.
  • •Manage logistics by maintaining relationships with common carriers and custom brokers; handle shipping disputes including freight damage claims, RMAs, and compliance disputes.
  • •Plan and direct customer shipments and manage shipping requirements, including dunnage portals and packaging/labels.
  • •Maintain inventory integrity using cycle counts, physical inventory strategy and execution, and corrective actions based on root cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum two (2) years experience within supply chain, operations and/or manufacturing.
  • •Provide direct supervision for distribution personnel and participate in hiring and performance-related decisions.
  • •Familiarity with material planning and customer systems (Oracle ERP, Ford DDL, FCA CSDS, Covisint).
