Key Responsibilities

  • •Formulate premixes for four NAA ANH blend plants, including modification of existing formulations within one day of request.
  • •Develop and maintain premix label materials and ingredient documentation, including databases, files, and third-party ingredient specifications.
  • •Ensure regulatory compliance with AAFCO or CFIA Feeds Act, including HACCP analysis and FSMA/SHE risk assessments for ingredients.
  • •Manage ingredient approvals and risk tools (Ingredient Risk Assessment, Approved Products List, Incoming Ingredient Checklist) and maintain SDS sheets for premixes.
  • •Develop and maintain NIR testing programs for raw materials and customer premix, and administer quality assurance for vitamins, trace minerals, and third-party ingredients.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Science degree specializing in Animal Nutrition.
  • •Five or more years’ experience in the feed industry, preferably in ingredient quality and premix formulation.
  • •SAP experience is mandatory.
  • •Strong background in NIR technology and demonstrated knowledge of feed formulation and feed ingredients.
  • •Proven knowledge of micronutrients and their application in animal nutrition, plus proficiency in statistics.
