Job Summary

Maintain Carvana’s Class 8 fleet by performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on day cabs and trailers under manufacturer warranty. Diagnose electrical, engine, and transmission issues using diagnostic tools and software, and handle aftertreatment/DEF emissions work like regens and filter changes. Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance team to keep accurate records, optimize performance, and minimize downtime while staying DOT compliant.

•Troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems using diagnostic tools and software.

•Maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime with the Fleet Maintenance team.
•Follow safety protocols and best practices to keep the fleet DOT compliant.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience with heavy-duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment.
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
•Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
•A minimum of two ASE certifications within the first 6 months of employment.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to perform physical maintenance tasks.
