Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform short-range mine planning, including development design (drift & fill, UCB, long-hole stope, backfill) and scheduling.
  • •Coordinate short- and long-range planning inputs with geology, survey, and mine operations, and reconcile plan vs. actual.
  • •Oversee projects and assist with budget preparation, cost estimates, and cost tracking.
  • •Support ground control and ground support engineering design and implementation (including rock bolting methods and shotcrete) and optimize explosives utilization and storage.
  • •Plan and coordinate surveys, tests, and investigations; collect and interpret data and present recommendations, executive summaries, and cost estimates to senior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mine engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • •Professional Engineer designation preferred.
  • •Experience in mining, metallurgy, or mineral processing (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •1-7 years of experience in mining engineering required.
  • •Supervision experience or experience directing the work of others preferred.
