Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform IPV, valuation adjustments, and prudent valuation adjustments, including ownership for Fair Value Hierarchy levelling.
  • •Review and enhance valuation control methodologies and practices with the Global Valuation Group.
  • •Maintain accurate and up-to-date procedure documentation for valuation controls.
  • •Streamline and enhance valuation processes and contribute to system development and automation for existing processes.
  • •Engage with key stakeholders, including Front Line Units, and escalate potential issues to supervisors in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in Global Markets Valuation Control or similar roles.
  • •Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/CFA/MBA with relevant experience in Valuation Control or Global Markets, including US GAAP and IFRS/IAS reporting frameworks.
  • •Ability to perform IPV, valuation adjustments, and prudent valuation understanding of valuation controls, regulatory rules, and governance.
  • •Experience and comfort communicating effectively with front office and finance stakeholders at different management levels.
  • •Proficiency with tools such as Access or VBA is beneficial; Alteryx, Tableau, and Python are added advantages.
