  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at military installations.
  • •Conduct one-on-one counseling, consultations with commanders/providers/staff, and deliver briefings and presentations.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle and respond to requests for age-appropriate sessions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
