Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage a pipeline of new residential mortgage business through outside sales calling and networking.
•Solicit residential mortgages, handle referrals, and provide timely updates and progress reports.
•Make sales presentations and manage marketing activities including seminars, letters, flyers, and realtor open houses.
•Pre-qualify potential home buyers, gather required support documents, and serve as the borrower’s advocate through underwriting, committing, and closing.
•Adhere to FirstBank policies and procedures and complete required management reports to monitor pipeline progression.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of effective and proven sales experience.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of mortgage loan regulatory requirements and residential products.
•Must be able to work independently with strong project management skills and adapt to a changing environment.
•High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a business-related major preferred).
