Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead IT compliance, audit, and GRC activities aligned with BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • •Plan, conduct, and follow up on audits, including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and coordination with auditors, certification bodies, and authorities
  • •Create and maintain audit-ready IT security and compliance documentation, including IT-Grundschutz and ISMS artifacts, risk registers, operating procedures, and meeting materials
  • •Identify, assess, document, and mitigate operational IT risks and support security accreditation processes for classified environments
  • •Operate and support secure IT infrastructure and incident-response-related activities, including SIEM log analysis, Active Directory, access controls, and backup/recovery

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, cybersecurity, information security management, or related field, or completed vocational training as an IT specialist with substantial relevant experience
  • •4+ years of relevant experience in IT risk, compliance, or secure IT operations
  • •Hands-on expertise in GRC and audit support, including BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001, ISMS implementation, audit preparation, evidence management, and remediation tracking
  • •Solid understanding of operational risk mitigation and cybersecurity, including SIEM platforms (ideally Splunk) and work in classified environments
  • •Strong stakeholder communication in German and English and the ability to translate complex regulatory topics into clear, actionable guidance
