Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues and prepare calculations to support accounting conclusions and external audits under US GAAP.
  • •Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and lead implementation of significant accounting changes.
  • •Manage valuation inputs and review deliverables with external valuation specialists for items such as 409A valuations and equity award valuations.
  • •Design and implement SOX-compliant accounting processes and internal controls, and improve external reporting readiness and disclosures.
  • •Partner with external auditors and consultants, and provide training and mentorship on technical accounting and emerging standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA license required.
  • •7+ years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting at a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
  • •Demonstrated technical accounting expertise, including drafting memos on complex, non-routine transactions.
  • •Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
  • •Experience supporting increasing external reporting, audit, or regulatory complexity.
