Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and transport loads safely and timely while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain required regulatory logs (e.g., electronic logging devices).
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers during loading/unloading, following loading crew signals and using specialized equipment as needed.
  • •Assemble loads according to loading lists, maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading), and deliver documentation after routes complete.
  • •Support yard operations including organizing trailers, staging deliveries and transfers, assisting with inventory control, and maintaining a safe, clean yard.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain and operate with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or chauffeur's license required by state regulations.
  • •Pass and maintain DOT physical requirements for trucks over 10,000 lbs.
  • •Pass and maintain background and drug testing as required by federal/state DOT regulations.
  • •Have experience operating a forklift and a straight truck, and be able to push and pull material from the bin.
  • •Provide customer-facing delivery experience and be able to remain focused in a busy environment.
