Job Summary

Partner with leaders to support OpenAI’s Consumer Devices organization by shaping high-performing, resilient teams through organizational design, talent planning, and people programs. Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner and coach managers through complex, evolving situations, strengthening leadership capabilities and people practices. Collaborate across HRBPs and People teams to deliver a cohesive employee experience, anticipate issues early, and lead meaningful organizational change with empathy and judgment.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with leaders on organizational design, talent planning, and ways of working to build high-performing, sustainable teams.
•Advise on people, leadership, and organizational matters using context and sound judgment.
•Collaborate with other HRBPs and People centers of excellence to create a cohesive employee experience.
•Strengthen people programs for performance, engagement, and talent development with practical, scalable solutions.
•Coach and develop managers, anticipate and solve problems early, and lead meaningful organizational change with empathy and rigor.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 230,000 - 260,000 annually

Key Requirements

•At least five years of experience as an HR Business Partner supporting hardware, engineering, or similarly technical organizations in fast-moving environments.
•Experience supporting multidisciplinary organizations that combine technical, creative, and operational disciplines.
•Ability to guide leaders through difficult trade-offs and adapt as organizational circumstances change.
•Skill in delivering candid feedback with care to strengthen leadership capability across an organization.
•Strong judgment to diagnose complex challenges and establish a path forward when playbooks don’t exist.
