Job Summary

Join the Hawk Lead-In-Fighter program as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across Mechanical, Avionics, and Armament trades. Work with authorised technical data and regulatory standards, reporting to a Team Leader while performing fault diagnosis, system maintenance, and weapon/egress system support. Based at the Williamtown NSW facility, you’ll help sustain and grow program capability while maintaining compliance and airworthiness requirements.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Mechanical: maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems and related components to meet airworthiness requirements.
•Avionics: conduct fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics and integrated aircraft electrical systems and ensure compliance with technical publications and certifications.
•Armament: maintain emergency escape, egress, and weapon systems, including load and handling of aircraft stores.

Key Requirements

•Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent (mandatory).
•Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and comply with ITAR (mandatory).
•Ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
•Strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset, including working in high-performance team environments.
